I apologise most sincerely if you linked to this blog looking for like-minded ferret (animals that is) lovers. This uses the word 'ferret' to fondly describe the amount of so called 'ferreting' of personal and not so personal items that one does when searching for family history gems.
For all those interested in beginning or those lucky people who are knee deep in researching their family history (stories) then welcome! I began this blog mostly to record (aren't we experts at that) the highs and lows of actually locating and reading those gems that I hope to find (minutes after the thought pops into my head) and do so, months later!
